It only feels like yesterday that we launched last year\u2019s Safety in Heat campaign \u2013 and here we are again, celebrating colleague safety during these scorching summer months. On July 11th, our most recent campaign was enacted to encourage a positive health and safety culture, helping to eliminate heat illness during hot weather.<\/p>\n

During the event, which was attended by OSHAD, ADM, Aldar, Aecom and TGC senior management, Aldar and TGC distributed twenty-five AED 100 LuLu gift cards, stainless steel water bottles and Laban UP for laborers. As well as these gifts, the companies have spent the year developing new heat health and safety initiatives; including training and regular meetings to encourage laborers to share their thoughts on how to improve safety in the workplace.<\/p>\n
